One of the best things about the season is Daiquiri Dick's Summer Sizzle. From June through August this popular beach side restaurant in Puerto Vallarta will offer diners three delectable courses for just $299 pesos per person. Plus there are choices for each course.

The Summer Sizzle menu changes weekly, featuring the cuisine of a different country. From June 1st to the 6th sample the flavors of Italy.

Appetizer Choices:

Bruschetta of the Day (3 Per Order)

Beef Carpacio with arugula, olive oil, parmesan cheese and fresh black pepper

Antipasto platter with grilled vegetables, olives, Serrano ham, salami and crostini

Entrée Selections:

Warm scallop and shrimp salad with mushrooms, eggplant and arugula, with a lemon-dijon and shallot vinaigrette

Spaghetti carbonara with bacon, garlic, parmesan cheese and egg

Rosemary Lemon Chicken served with polenta, sauteed spinach and a garlic lemon sauce

Dessert Choices:

Tiramisu

Pears poached in red wine, served with brie cheese
 
Gelato of the Day

No sweet tooth, no problem, substitute one national drink or a glass of house wine for the dessert course. Dinner is served 5:30 - 11pm and between now and the end of October, the restaurant will be closed on Tuesdays. Reservations can be made through OpenTable.com.

Primero:

Variedad de bruschettas del día en baguette (3 por orden)

Carpaccio de res, con queso parmesano, arúgula, aceite de oliva y pimienta fresca

Antipasto de vegetales aados, queso mozarella de búfalo, aceitunas, jamón Serrano, salami y crostini

Segundo:

Ensalada tibia de callo y camarón, con champiñones, berenjena, arúgula baby y aderezo de limón con echallotes y mostaza dijón

Speghetti carbonara con tocino, ajo, queso parmesano y huevo

Pollo al romero con limón, servido con polenta, espinaca al sartén y salsa de ajo y limón

Postre:

Tiramisú

Peras pochadas en vino tinto con queso brie
 
Gelato de la casa
