I took the overnight bus from Acapulco to Puerto Vallarta along the Pacific coast and stayed in one of the hotels in the hotel zone, a central resort area of Puerto Vallarta, where all the major hotels and malls, and of course, the beaches are.
I also visited one of the Soriana malls nearby and had a salad there, walked along the street to the port, where one of the large cruise ships were anchored, and had a VIP pass for one of the resorts to use their pools and facilities with access to the beach.
