Guess what is happening on the 20th Of June this year? I’m sure most of you don’t know but the most exciting event is coming up in the history of Puerto Vallarta. On Saturday night at 8.00 p.m. Puerto Vallarta’s famous Malecón would be the place to be. The Jalisco Secretary of Tourism is presenting “Jalisco en Vivo 2009” which is an absolutely free concert
featuring the world’s best, most renowned as well as award winning artists such as Alejandro Fernández, Gloria Estefan, Enrique Iglesias, Joan Sebastian, Raúl di Blasio, Aleks Syntek, Luis Fonsi, León Polar, Gianmarco, David Bisbal, Noel, Coti, Belanova, Fanny Lu, Sandoval, Ha*Ash y MarÃa José, among others.
This outdoor concert
is a part of Mexico’s $92 million dollar plan called the “Vive México.†This program has been especially designed to not only provide a night of wicked entertainment for all you folks but also in order to reverse the stream of negative publicity that Puerto Vallarta has been facing.
It was not just “Flu scare†but also the ongoing media reports on the violence pertaining to drugs in Mexico; which I may add only exist towards the outskirts and borders of Mexico. These frivolous newscasts have had a grave effect on the economy and tourism of Puerto Vallarta.
This free concert is going to be a sensational event which should not be missed. One of my personal favourite artists, Enrique Iglesias is also going to be performing who is a heartthrob of millions of girls and an idol for all of the men out there. This seaside concert will eventually lull all the negative publicity and draw out all the tourists who are still in fear of visiting Puerto Vallarta.
This event is going to be hosted by the Ambassador of Jalisco Tourism, Alejandro Fernández, who himself is a well known and famous Mexican singer. This free concert is not going to be the end but it is the beginning of the throng of different and exciting events that are going to take place in Puerto Vallarta. You wouldn’t want to miss this because it is a chance in a lifetime and what is so exhilarating about this musical extravaganza, is that it is totally and completely free. This concert is open to everybody, the tourists and the locals. But in order to get good seats, make sure you come early because the seats are going to be on “first come, first served†basis.
For all those who want to avoid the crowd, you folks can make your reservations early in order to enjoy the show fully. You can make the reservations at the many restaurants overlooking the Malecón. This seat could also be situated where you can view the picturesque horizon and the beach.
